Query a particular DNS server for a domain name

dig khromov.se @ns1.loopia.se

This is useful for checking if your DNS servers are properly replying to DNS requests for your domain.

Note: dig is usually not included with base systems, to install dig:

CentOS

yum install bind-utils

Ubuntu / Debian

apt-get install dnsutils
